Fall Winter

/

2015 - 2016

The collection is surrounded by the charm of the Seventies, and immersed in that crisp air which is rich in new ideas and great courage.
It is a black and white picture that gets its colors back, with signs of modernity. New interpretations, geometries, and overlapping materials, gradations and shadows are thus born.

Inventing, trying, perfecting.
It is no longer just classic shapes and traditional proportions: fur is destructured. As if it were split in two, it shows its contrasting souls in a strong game, attesting to great stylistic daring.
The highest expression is found in the sable coat combined with swakara lamb and “black cross” mink: the geometric elements in which material textures alternate with color combinations, volumes and three-dimensional effects, reveal an appeal to abstract art.

The highest level of Italian craftsmanship, which is once again able to interpret the designer’s ideas, materializes in intarsia mink coats, between the strict shapes of the houndstooth pattern and the gentle brush strokes of petals and leaves.
Cashmere goat jackets and vests are even younger and bolder, and feature big volumes, which give a great sense of comfort.

Reinterpretation.
Duffle coats, capes, mink trench coats with lamb details, classically tailored with the typical seams of shearling coats. The colors are pearl beige, silver blue, pastel purple. Ruby red, blue in different shades, and camel-beige-brown. And then we go back to black and white: in natural white mink, through the gray tone of silver blue, through “black cross”, up to the intense black of Blackglama.
Its personality is decisive. A strong color palette.

It’s the Fabio Gavazzi collection, the new sound of fur.
Fur sounds good.
